Here is an extremely rare trilobite. This is Tropidocoryphe sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. We have only seen a handful of specimens of this type and this one is easily the best. This trilobite has very small eyes that are set next to a very small, inflated glabella. The trilobite has an extremely wide cephalic brim and very pointed genal areas. The thoracic pleurons extend into sharp points. The pygidium displays coarse ribs. This large specimen is inflated and very nicely articulated. The bug has great color and contrast. It is well centered on the block of limestone. This is an extremely nice specimen of a very rare trilobite.
