This is a beautifully prepared trilobite. It is a top quality Cyphaspis from Morocco. This impressive specimen has been expertly prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab. This type of trilobite has a huge, bulbous glabella, long genal spines, and a long axial spine - both genal spines and the axial spine have been wonderfully prepared in a free-standing manner on this specimen! The bug also has very nice stalked eyes. And there are bumps and pustules completely covering the exoskeleton, especially on the glabella and even the genal spines! The black fossil contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The distinct trilobite is beautifully showcased on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a spectacular display example of this spiny Moroccan Cyphaspis.
