This is a cool enrolled trilobite. It is a large Eldredgeops rana milleri from the Silica Shale of Ohio. This tightly enrolled specimen is somewhat inflated and exhibits good articulation. The detail of the thick exoskeleton is excellent, and the compound faceted eyes are totally intact. The chocolate-brown coloration both striking and fully natural. This is a fine, complete example of an enrolled Eldredgeops rana milleri from this classic US locality.
