Here is an enrolled Cordania falcata from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1999. The trilobite is very inflated and exhibits fine detail. Although the bug is curled, both free cheeks are intact, which is unusual. Under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the cephalon of the trilobite. The beautiful, cream-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the sculpted limestone base. This is a fine display specimen of an enrolled Cordania falcata from the Haragan Formation.
