This is a very collectible specimen of Redlichia (Pteroredlichia) chinensis from the Cambrian of China. The trilobite is HUGE for the type and exhibits very fine detail. Usually these trilobites are found with the free cheeks missing - this well-articulated specimen has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the pointed pleural spines are also well preserved. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well showcased on two large, rectangular plates. And, remember, this is a split pair - both part and counterpart are included here together! This is a MONSTER, top quality example of Redlichia, easily the largest complete example of this type we have ever had.
