Here is a very well-prepared specimen of Zlichovaspis rugosa from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. The large bug is preserved in a very 3-dimensional manner and exhibits great detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen - and many of the individual lenses are clearly defined. The long, broad genal spines and the short caudal spine are all nicely displayed. The fossil has excellent, brown to black coloration and contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The bug is well showcased on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a very large, aesthetic example of Zlichovaspis rugosa from Morocco.
