This is a fabulous Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. Specimens of this trilobite were drilled by Native Americans for adornment purposes and have been found hundreds of miles away from the site. Most examples of Elrathia are well under one inch long - this on is an inch. This fine trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The specimen has been professionally extracted from the surrounding rock. And at almost one and a quarter inches long, it is a decently large example to be this nice. This is a top quality example of the classic trilobite, Elrathia kingi.
