This is a distinct spiny trilobite. It is a large Long-Horned Kettneraspis from Morocco. This bug has great natural color and very fine detail. The genal spines are extremely long, and the pleural spines are easily seen. The stalked eyes and long occipital ''horn'' were all prepared free-standing. And the way the bug lays on the large sculpted matrix plate is quite aesthetic. This is a very nice example of this ''showy'' Odontopleurid trilobite.
