This is a beautiful trilobite. It is a very large Ceraurus plattinensis from Ontario, Canada. This fabulous specimen was recently acquired from a major trilobite collection. This type is one of the hardest Canadian Ceraurus-types to find in nice shape. This one is not only nice, it is fabulous. The trilobite has beautifully preserved thick shell exoskeleton, and the eyes are even intact! The bug is wonderfully articulated, extremely 3-D, and amazingly symmetrical. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the squared matrix block. This is one of most displayable Ceraurus plattinensis we have ever had.
