This was the first Flexi in Sam's collection, which led to bigger and better things! This complete trilobite is outstretched and 3-dimensionally preserved. The bug is well articulated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The trilobite has thick, chocolate brown exoskeleton, with the skin missing on a few pleurons, giving it character. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the colorful plate of shale.
