Name:

This is a very nice plate of trilobites from the Cambrian of Utah. There are three large examples of Elrathia kingi on the slab. There is also one excellent example of Bolaspidella housensis. The detailed trilobites are nicely articulated - most of the specimens have the free cheeks intact. The black bugs are very sharp in appearance and contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. The fossils are well positioned on the large, unbroken plate of shale. And, best of all, this wonderful specimen has not been composited - all of these trilobites are original to the plate. This is a very aesthetic multiple plate of trilobites from the Wheeler Formation.
