This is a gorgeous multiple plate of different trilobites from the Ordovician of Morocco. On the left side of the slab is an unidentified Asaphid trilobite. An unidentified Cheirurid trilobite is on the right side of the plate. The trilobites are completely natural to the piece - they have not been composited. Both trilobites are nicely inflated and wonderfully articulated. The rounded form of the Asaphid trilobite contrasts strikingly with the spiny appearance of the Cheirurid trilobite. The trilobites have excellent color and contrast and are beautifully presented on the sculpted oval plate. This is a very attractive multiple plate of different trilobites that would please the most discerning collector.
