This is a beautiful Gerastos granulosus from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is nicely articulated and exhibits very fine detail. Both free cheeks are intact and nicely displayed. The pustulose nature of the large glabella is quite evident, and the eyes are easily seen. The bug is EXTREMELY inflated and 3-dimensionally preserved. The fossil is nicely showcased on the natural block of dense limestone. This is a fabulous example of Gerastos granulosus from the Atlas Mountains.
