Name:
Calymene clavicula Age: Upper Silurian Formation: Henryhouse Formation Location: Pontotoc County, Oklahoma Size: Trilobite is 1.5 inches long Price:$199.00
This is a complete Calymene clavicula from the Silurian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Steve Hess in 1998. The trilobite is very inflated and 3-D and exhibits fine detail - under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the bulbous glabella of the trilobite. Both free cheeks are intact and tightly attached, which is unusual. The beautiful, cream-colored bug contrasts well with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on a large block of limestone. This is a nice, inflated specimen of Calymene from the Henryhouse Formation of Oklahoma.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
