This is very collectible Trinucleid fossil. It is a pair of Cryptolithus bellulus from the classic site at Swatara Gap, Pennsylvania. This specimen was collected by Steve Hess in 1986. This type of trilobite is known for being found individually, not in pairs or multiples. This specimen features two complete bugs that are actually touching! The trilobites have excellent detail preserved. This is a very collectible example of a pair of classic Cryptolithus trilobites from this closed site.
