Name:
Dechenella sp. Age: Devonian Formation: AM Limestone Location: Morocco Size: Trilobite is 0.8 inches if prone Price:SOLD
Here is a nice specimen of an uncommon trilobite. This is Dechenella sp. from the Devonian of Morocco. This type of trilobite has a semicircular cephalon with genal spines and a prominent pygidial border. It has a very smooth carapace - almost entirely void of any ornamentation. This detailed specimen is very inflated and slightly arched. The dark color of the fossil contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The bug is well showcased on the natural block of limestone. This is an unusual complete example of this scarce trilobite from Morocco.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
