Name:
Kainops raymondi Age: Lower Devonian Formation: Haragan Formation Location: Coal County, Oklahoma Size: Trilobite is 0.7 inches across Price:SOLD
This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Kainops raymondi. This type of trilobite is differentiated from Paciphacops by the larger number of lenses in the eyes. The inflated bug is well preserved in an enrolled position, still encased in matrix. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is nicely presented on the large block of marlstone. This is a fine specimen of an enrolled Kainops from the Haragan Formation.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
